Hi everyone! Sorry for the late post. A bit of a set-back this last week...


3 pound gain. Well, I blame the bucket of beer I had to share with a friend. Haha... hahay.


I think I'm going to retitle this set of entries about my health commitment to something else. Haven't quite decided yet. Probably along the lines of "Jace Gets Fit: my personal fitness journey". Doesn't quite have the oomph I'd like it to, but I guess it's a bit more exciting than "Health Commitment Update". Anyone have any thoughts? Maybe I should put all this in a different blog (We know I did). Hmmm.


Ok. So I've been doing my research, as well as talking to my doctor, about healthy weight loss and what not. Here's what I have so far:

Here are some ideas on goals:

Checked a chart for ideal height and weight. Guess who's Obese? Well, you already know. :-)

I've also been checking out just how much I should be eating to lose weight, I checked some sites out for a calorie calculator...

I've always been considering maybe using a meal plan service like Planeat, who you can also follow on instagram (@planeat_program) by the way. I know some folks who've had success with them, as well as share some of the meals they've preped with them myself (don't worry, I wasn't depriving them or anything). 

I might look into that again. For now though, time to go run!
