Hello all. Weekly update time.


Lost the last pound to reach the first goal. But just another poind in a week. And I felt like I did so much this week too. Might have been eating a bit more than I should've though, particularly between meals.

In the previous post, I  said I'd talk about my strategies. I wrote them down on an index card but that's not with me at the moment. Bullet points for now:

  • Conscious Consumption
    • I read somewhere that chewing your food more helps you feel full on significantly less. Aiming to chew each mouthful of food 30x before swallowing, or at least up until it looses texture. 
    • I also aim to be more conscious when I eat, enjoy the textures and flavors more as I chew. 
  • Regular movement
    • This is a no brainer. I haven't exactly had any regular exercise in the past few years since I stopped running (walk-jogging) in MoA. I should start that again. For now though, I've been trying to get some WOD in, 4 sets of 4 exercises +1 in, in straight sets, no breaks. Concentrating on form. 
  • Liquid Dinner
    • Beer? Nah. Trying to substitute a liquid meal (herbalife protien shake) for a heavy dinner lately. This past week has been a bust though. Anyone with ideas about substitutes?
